Preventing Sexual Harassment: A Practical Overview at The University of Edinburgh is an ‘expected learning’.

This course helps you recognise sexual harassment and explores how victims and bystanders can respond appropriately to sexual harassment. The course concludes by describing the complaint processes available to victims who have experienced sexual harassment and their rights under the law.

By taking this course you will be able to:

  • Know what sexual harassment is
  • Recognise inappropriate and illegal conduct in the workplace
  • Have appropriate responses to sexual harassment as a victim and bystander
  • Outline the University’s complaints process
  • Be aware of you and your employer's responsibilities for preventing sexual harassment
