Disability and Inclusion Sub-Group The Disability and Inclusion Sub-Group is a thematic committee of the University Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (EDIC). Faith and Belief Sub-Group The Faith and Belief Sub-Group is a sub-group of the University’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (EDIC). The Sub-Group provides a sounding board for conversations, topics and events affecting the University of Edinburgh communities of Faith and Belief. For clarity, the Sub-Group acknowledges that Belief also includes humanist and non-religious beliefs. Gender Equality Sub-Group The Gender Equality Sub-Group is a thematic committee of the University Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee (EDIC). LGBT+ Sub-Group The LGBT+ sub-group is a thematic group of the University Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee (EDIC). The Group aims to improve the experiences of LGBT+ students and staff through taking community-informed and strategically aligned actions, while providing constructive challenge and active support to EDIC. Race Equality and Anti-Racist Sub-Group (REAR) The Race Equality and Anti-Racist Sub-Group (REAR) is a thematic committee of the University Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee (EDIC). The University of Edinburgh will take action against racism in its various forms (personal, cultural and institutional). We do not wish to be complicit through silence and inaction.
