Cross Company Allyship Programme

We are proud participants of the Cross Company Allyship Programme. Every year KPMG matches mentors to BAME mentees across partner companies in four countries.

The Cross Company Allyship Programme is free and the only condition is that the University of Edinburgh provides equal number of mentors and mentees.

Who can be a University of Edinburgh mentor?

We are particularly looking for leaders from pay grades 9 or 10, who can bring their wealth of experience to the table. Whether you are from a BAME background or an ally, your participation is crucial.

Who can be a University of Edinburgh mentee?

Mentees must be BAME colleagues that currently work at our university.

What is the duration of the programme?

The programme runs for 12 months. It starts in January 2025 and ends in December 2025. It is recommended that mentors and mentees meet each other virtually every four to six weeks. The programme additionally provides thought-provoking (optional) learning sessions every quarter for one hour.

If you are on the fence, I hope that Stella’s experience sway you to register as a mentor or mentee by 29th November.

Once all registrations are completed, KPMG will match all mentors with mentees, hence the importance of putting forward equal numbers.
